Beau Plan, an inclusive city.
Building a city means creating opportunities. A strong commitment for Beau Plan, which combines its development with that of the region for inclusive growth that benefits everyone. Let’s take a look at the latest projects led by its developer, Novaterra.
Employment prospects, urban regeneration, sports and recreation, culture, economic development… A city is synonymous with growth and opportunity. And it is in this sense that Novaterra has been committed, since obtaining its Smart City Certificate in 2018, to support the growth of the region and the well-being of its inhabitants.
For several months now, in collaboration with the public authorities, Beau Plan has launched a series of projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the people of Bois Rouge. ‘’This collaboration, which will last for the years to come, is very important for us, explains Pravin Hanuman, Senior Development Manager at Novaterra. Because of its proximity to Beau Plan, Bois Rouge must benefit from the influence of the city and its developments. The well-being of its people is our priority.”
After conducting a series of interviews to better understand the expectations and needs of the villagers, an action plan was developed to address them. Several projects are underway: the construction of a sports complex with a football field, petanque and locker rooms is under development, some roads will be enlarged and the walls rebuilt, and landscaping work is being done to reforest the village. While the football field may not be operational until 2023, the rest of the work should be completed by the end of the year.
In total, Rs 60 million was invested by Novaterra in this phase of work. It is a necessary financial and human investment, according to Pravin: ‘’We have received very positive feedback overal, he adds . This reinforces more than ever our commitment to involve all stakeholders to build inclusive growth that creates opportunities for all.”
Beau Plan is gradually becoming the vibrant heart of the region. The Mahogany Shopping Promenade, with its lake and promenade, is already an unmissable stop. Served by several bus lines, it is as much a source of leisure as a pole of employment for the region. More projects are also being studied to better meet the evolving expectations of the community, such as an employment strategy to connect businesses to the region’s profiles or an artistic project to rehabilitate Bois Rouge. Stay tuned!
The year is already drawing to a close. 2022 has been punctuated by events of all kinds that reflect the dynamism of this city in the making. Let’s look back at the highlights.
With an established leisure offering, residential neighbourhoods that are coming to life and a pleasant and convenient business park, Beau Plan aspires to become the ideal destination for businesses. Shadil Golam Hossen, Sales & Leasing Executive at Novaterra, talks us through the advantages of working in this thriving environment.
As part of the responsible development of the Smart City of Beau Plan, a regional reforestation program has begun. Aligned with Beau Plan’s vision of ensuring development that is sustainable and in harmony with nature instead of against it, the program aims to develop new areas of greenery in Beau Plan and its surroundings.
