In partnership with the association All Life Matters, Beau Plan is organising a Dog Adoption Day at Mahogany Shopping Promenade on 7 February. Here are all the details about this meaningful initiative.
Animal welfare remains a major concern in Mauritius, where too many stray dogs and cats are still left to fend for themselves or suffer from mistreatment. Committed to this cause, Beau Plan is once again hosting a puppy and stray dog adoption day at Mahogany Shopping Promenade on 7 February, in collaboration with All Life Matters (based in Mon Rocher). Feel free to spread the word and help these animals find loving homes.
Frédérique Perpétu, Sustainability & Reporting Lead at Terra, shares:
“We are deeply committed to animal protection and welfare. Through this initiative, which is becoming a regular event, we hope to give these puppies and dogs a chance to find caring families.”
She adds: “We work closely with All Life Matters for these adoption days. They ensure vaccination and sterilisation of the puppies and dogs and follow up with families after adoption.”
A comprehensive approach designed to give these animals the best possible future. Sterilisation is essential to help prevent the growing number of stray dogs across the island. This is a real national issue, and everyone can play a role in addressing it.
Dog Adoption Day: a recurring initiative
Following the growing success of these adoption events, several sessions are planned throughout the year. Beau Plan aims to organise two to three adoption days annually to support vulnerable animals and help gradually reduce the number of stray dogs in the region.
