The Gourmet Experience culinary festival has become one of Mauritius’ must-attend events, bringing people together in high spirits to explore new dishes alongside a thoughtfully curated musical lineup. This latest edition, held at L’Aventure du Sucre in Beau Plan, was no exception.
From beef and chicken burgers to a vegan corner, Thai cuisine, a variety of cakes, and gourmet dishes, a delightful range of flavors was on display throughout the day and into the evening. In a warm atmosphere filled with satisfied “Mmm” and “Aah!” sounds, attendees enjoyed every bite. Each stall drew its own crowd, with vendors like 1890 Mon Rocher, Cape Verde, and Wapalapam making a splash. Altogether, more than 15 stands offered their tasty creations and whimsical culinary twists—like Mini Melts in mango or bubblegum flavors!
Sponsored by Maggi, the Gourmet Experience delighted both kids and adults alike. Face painting, a photobooth, games, and even the iconic train ride at L’Aventure du Sucre kept the little ones entertained, while their parents savored cocktails and wines from the 20/Vin stand. Whether relaxing on the grass near the concert, mingling at tables in the heart of the event, or lounging on benches nearby, everyone found their perfect spot to enjoy the day’s festivities.
