As night falls over the gardens of L’Aventure du Sucre, a special atmosphere begins to settle in. It is that familiar pre-screening excitement, bringing together children and adults alike, filled with laughter and eager whispers. At 7:30 pm, the movie begins.
Following the screening of La Ferme des Bertrand on 13 February and the comedy film On ira on March 6th. It is now time for Une affaire d’honneur to take centre stage. Join us on April 3rd to discover it. After the screening, regular guests and newcomers alike are invited to stay on for a drink and music to extend the evening in a convivial atmosphere.
Organised in partnership with the Institut Français de Maurice (IFM) and supported, since 2025, by the city of Beau Plan, these free movie nights at L’Aventure du Sucre have built a loyal following. For the past five years, they have regularly brought together cinema lovers in a festive and welcoming setting.
The aim of these screenings is simple: to make cinema accessible to all. By exploring themes such as education, the environment, social equity, gender equality, health and social justice, this eclectic programme raises awareness of key issues in our society while inviting audiences to dream, laugh and enjoy warm shared evenings. This partnership with the IFM also seeks to promote cultural and linguistic diversity through the dissemination of Francophone culture.
