Strolling through the streets of Beau Plan means enjoying an atmosphere that is sometimes peaceful, sometimes bustling… depending on the area you choose! Do you know them all? Let’s explore the city of Beau Plan together.

The Lakeside District

It’s the soul of Beau Plan! An ideal place for a leisurely Saturday afternoon stroll as well as for handling all your daily needs after work during the week. The Lakeside District allows you to do your shopping, take a daytime break, grab a bite to eat, exercise, or simply daydream by the lake at any time of day.

The Mahogany Shopping Promenade is its central node. And for good reason: with its convenient services, shops, restaurants, and boutiques, it simplifies the daily lives of the residents of Beau Plan and the surrounding area! On the opposite side, The Strand, opened in 2023, offers modern and creative offices to businesses in the region. There is even a gym in one of its buildings, allowing everyone to work out before or after work.

Beyond its buildings and services, Beau Plan’s Lakeside District is renowned for its creativity. The art installation ‘Le Champs des Lumières’ transforms the lake into a glittering spectacle every night, while the sunset beforehand provides a daily magical display. Additionally, the street art by artist Baba Gaïa at the entrance of Mahogany is a delightful visual treat.

The Business District

This upcoming business area is set to welcome offices and showrooms. Easily accessible, it is the ideal environment for companies wishing to establish themselves in the north. This is already the case for Decathlon, which opened its second Mauritian store in Beau Plan in 2023!

The Business Park

Well-established for several years now, Beau Plan’s Business Park bustles with life and activity throughout the week. Organized around a water feature and shaded by old trees, such as the large flamboyant tree that stands at its center, the Business Park is actually former warehouses converted into offices. They host several companies of varying sizes and sectors. At its heart, La Cantine de Beau Plan delights local workers for lunch or a morning coffee break… not to mention the after-work events organized by Beau Plan!

The Creative Park

Celebrating creativity in all its forms, the Creative Park is set between Beau Plan’s agricultural scales and its mango orchards. In addition to a program of events (concerts, exhibitions…) and sports classes (such as dance from the Studio Dance School), it benefits from the presence of the L’Aventure du Sucre museum. It also houses the printing studio The Octopus, the Patrick Mavros atelier and African Trader boutiques, a flexible space for classes and events, and much more.

The Residential Neighborhood

Bordered by a majestic avenue of royal palm trees, the various subdivisions of the residential neighborhood are full of life. It’s not uncommon to see groups of young people on bikes, athletes traversing its alleys and orchards, children at the playground… A warm atmosphere prevails in this neighborhood, offering calm and serenity to its residents.

The Beauhinias

The historic heart of Beau Plan, this neighborhood is full of secrets and anecdotes. Walking through it is like taking a pause in time to discover the natural and historical heritage of the region, between its old dispensary, centuries-old trees, and colonial house.

Mon Rocher

Buzzing with life, the Mon Rocher neighborhood boasts a school (Greencoast International School), stables, a padel tennis center (La Isla Padel Club), a daycare (Ti Marmailles), and even an animal sanctuary (All Life Matters). It’s no wonder it brings joy to both young and old and breathes life and vitality.
